To get a review out of me the place has to be something special and this is my second review for Ferry Barber Shop , Joe and his staff are simply amazing, just try them once and you’ll be a regular customer like me, I live in Elizabeth where there’s a barbershop on every corner, but I choose to go to Ferry, quality, price, get atmosphere they have it all!!

Wow, my first time there and it’s amazing, the attention to detail is incredible, the price for the service is amazing. Love Joe, his the owner and the man to see!! Will definitely be a regular customer

There are not enough 'Stars' to adequately represent or parallel the YEARS worth of total experience, as well as, learned quality/skilled expertise in cutting/barbering/styling, the plethora of hair types, growth patterns, personalities & preferences of individual clients on a daily basis.

Joe, ~with proper due respect/acknowledgement to his father, the founder~ is an exceptional barber, and runs the shop considerately. His own personal experience, attention to details, gut instincts of fairly handling/accommodating the wide variety & ages of clientele, is, in & of itself, respectable.
His passion for life, 'fair values' the USA, basic truths, is evident... you do not have to agree with every point, but guaranteed, if you listen/interact, you'll get 'another point of view' & education, in a very 'straightforward' delivery... in my opinion, respectable ;-)
Ferry St. Barbershop is a 'true & valuable' classic ~not 'trendy/bougie'~ shop. It is run, in my estimation, in a fair, professional, courteous, personable manner. While Joe has been my barber for the past 15yrs or so, the other barbers are licensed, skilled & hand picked, so I would trust my head to them if Joe was not available.
With fair expectations, you will walk out of the shop with a professional & pleasant 'experience" as well as a cut that is "2nd to none".
Very glad to see they fairly & finally raised their fees relative to other "not as skilled" or way overpriced, compared to skill-level, shops/barbers...

Left Ferry Barbershop and a guy said,”Great haircut man!” Of course! Joe, the “MASTER with the EDUCATED HANDS” cut my hair!!!
